Blake Office Plaza
Lacey, Washington

The twin multi-tenant office buildings are 2-stories and 52,000sq.ft. each.  During construction, the buildings were leased to a State of Washington Dept. of Social & Health Services.  The structure is steel framing with  tilt-up concrete bearing walls.   The bearing walls are cast with closely spaced reveal joints simulating cut stone or small concrete panels painted three shades of gray.  The slot windows are blue-gray reflective insulated glass with aluminum frames.  The window walls combine vision and non-vision glazing matching the slot windows.  Between the two buildings is a landscaped courtyard with glazed arbor canopy shelter and seating.  Accessible ramping connects the buildings that differ in ground floor grade about 3 feet.
