Iron Bridge Building III
The 2-story 46,500sq.ft. speculative office building was modified during the design phase when the Social Security Administration leased 85% of the building to house their Spokane Field Office and Office of Disability Adjudication & Review. The building is steel framed with tilt-up concrete perimeter bearing walls that feature inlaid brick and decorative rustications on the face. Green color glass and framing continues the color theme of the Iron Bridge Office Campus. The high performance insulated glazing and insulated concrete panels provide energy conserving enclosure walls. Many security features and acoustic isolation measures were incorporated into the building at the request of SSA and the General Services Administration. A small portion on the second floor houses a couple of non-SSA tenants. The building won a national design award from the Tilt-up Concrete Association.
"Iron Bridge Office Campus in Spokane has contracted with Ron Joseph Architecture as the lead design firm for the first three buildings on the campus as well as collaboration on design of a four floor parking garage, and we plan to continue to use Ron's design services for the last two buildings scheduled for the campus. Ron's grasp of the finer details of design, curb appeal and space efficiency have made the Iron Bridge Office Campus project profitable and appealing to the tenants, community and the Iron Bridge Partners."
